I had a chance to sit in a lecture by Professor C.K. Prahlad of Michigan Business School. He is the co-author of the famous business book "Competing for the future" from which the buzz word "core competence" became famous.

Since the other author is Professor Gary Hamel, then at London Business School, now Visiting Professor, I came to read the very first book when it was published in the US. I had no idea where Prof. Prahlad was from. He is Indian! He actually was a key-note speaker at the Indian Day at LBS yesterday.
